On July 9-12, 2021 the 31th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases took place in Vienna (Austria) which due to the complicated epidemiological situation caused by the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 was held in online-format.
Within the forum the most important issues relating to modern microbiology and therapy of infectious diseases were considered and the results concerning updated applied scientific research and advanced developments were presented. This year subject matter specialists from 136 countries participated in the 31th ECCMID-2021 forum.
Within the ECCMID-2021 online-platform full format educational programs were arranged in addition to the main scientific program (traditional symposia, lectures, seminars); abstracts of the original scientific research projects were posted on the Internet at ECCMID e-library.
In 2021 at ECCMID-2021 forum specialists of RPC “Diagnostic Systems” company have presented the results of two collaborative scientific studies – «Prevalence of hepatitis E in Russia» and «SARS-CoV-2 antibody repertoire related to disease severity».
